  All three of our daughters have attended the FPC First 5 Years preschool and have had amazing experiences. The preschool curriculum is in line with the programs at the Kindergarten level in the Lawrence Public Schools. This definitely helped our older girls have a better foundation in reading and writing when they started elementary school. We love that they also have art, music and theater programs to let kiddos explore the arts.
  
  Two of our three girls have food allergies and the teachers are amazing at making sure our girls are safe and never excluded from classroom activities.
  
  We could not have asked for more loving and supportive teachers to prepare our girls for school. We are sad that this is our last year with the preschool, but know more kiddos will have great experiences like we did!

  Both my kids attended the FPC Preschool and KDO programs and loved it. They were sad when they had to move on.

  I have been blessed to be a part of this preschool program both as a parent and as a teacher. All 3 of my kids attended and loved it, and they were very well prepared for kindergarten. I have been a teacher at FPC First 5 Years for the past 6 years in both the KDO and Preschool programs (currently teach in the beginner 5 day preschool room). It is a joy to work with such a creative, caring, and supportive group of teachers and for an amazing director. I absolutely love my job and helping to enrich the lives of children every day.

  The First 5 years program is wonderful. My kids learn, feel safe and make lots of friends. The staff continue to evolve the activities they do each year which makes it fun. We have been grateful for 5 years now. It will be our last year but we are looking forward to the cute graduation ceremony they do for the pre K kiddos. Thank you First Pres First 5 years team!

  I am a stay at home mom who had a shy only child when I first enrolled him at FPC First 5 Years as what began as an opportunity for socialization. He has absolutely blossomed there thanks to the wonderful teachers and kind staff. He looks forward to preschool each day and I am incredibly pleased by how much he is learning in preparation for kindergarten. If you are seeking a preschool that operates from a strong foundation of kindness, education, leadership and sense of community, this is the school for you! Highly, highly recommended!!
